Deaf Federation of South Africa (DeafSA) acts as the national research, information and community action organisation on behalf of ± 600 000 South Africans that are culturally and linguistically Deaf.
South African Disability Alliance (SADA) is a body that is made up of the twelve national organisations that represent disability in South Africa. This organisation was formerly known as the Federal Council on Disability and has now been reconstituted to be a body of consensus, and the voice of the disability sector in South Africa.
Department of Women, Children and People with Disabilities. The mandate of department is to promote, facilitate, coordinate and monitor the realization of the rights of women, children and people with disabilities.
South African National Council for the Blind (SANCB). Council’s Vision is to facilitate a network of organisations who collaborate towards the prevention of blindness and securing the full participation and inclusion of blind and partially sighted people in all aspects of a diverse South African society.
